Off Season Program: This integrated program blends weight training, core-stability, and speed and agility with fast-pitch specific movements. The foundational elements of joint stability coupled with the strength and neural power training, will help prevent common knee and shoulder injuries associated with female athletes. The nutritional component of this program will provide a healthy direction towards fueling new athletic endeavors.
Days per week: 3-5 (60 minutes)
Duration: 3-5 months
In-Season Program: Two to three times a week, you’ll perform sport specific movements, addressing all planes of motion, and all muscular actions. During this phase of training, aspects of strength endurance and mobility will be used. This approach will keep you strong and sharp throughout your season and keep your performance on track to peak when you need it most, during the playoffs.
